TEDxYouth@Chisinau - Ohad Sternberg - Trickling-up sustainable change in Education
I met Ohad in Chisinau at Launch48. He sent me this video today. You should watch it.
Managed to pass a chopstick right through my head!

HereToNetwork will be exhibiting at the Launch48 Showcase event on 2nd September. We will be showing off a demo of our app on an iPhone. There will be 17 other startups trying to impress the judges, so competition is fierce!
We’re looking forward to meeting some investors and hearing from the…
I’m really excited about exhibiting at Launch48 Showcase. HereToNetwork began at the Birmingham Launch48 weekend and has come so far since then. One of the most recent break-throughs was realising that we need to be a showguide and day planning platform to create value for an individual user. I think this Startup Quote helps to explain. We can then build on that, add other modules and begin to optimise networking at events.
Andrew sent me an invite to the closed beta of Protected.cc
The service started life at Launch48. It allows you to:
1) Protect work that you have created
2) Prove you met a deadline
3) Back up important documents
4) Maintain an independent record
You could call Protected.cc a Web2.0 answer to the Poor Man’s Copyright. It won’t stand up to much in court, but it could deter copyright theft. I like the simplicity- just CC the service in an email and know that the content and attachments are backed up and time stamped.
The service will be freemium, but pricing for a top up to your free 10 credits has yet to be determined. I see this service becoming very popular with designers and freelancers.
Keep an eye on Protected.cc’s blog and follow the team on Twitter for an announcement about a public beta!
Update from Andrew: First set of invites will go out to those who have signed up to the newsletter - visit Protected.cc and enter your contact details if you are interested.
This is undoubtedly something I need to replicate at home. I’m at #launch48 and plugged into the most enormous monitor I’ve ever used - LG Flatron Plasma. Jolicloud is perfect for a web app event. I’m working on http://heretonetwork.com and blogging at http://blog.heretonetwork.com - check it out!
